The Dig It kitchen garden launched this fall in Dobbins Dining at Penn State Behrend. The fully automated appliances allow campus dining staff to grow and cook with a variety of fresh herbs, vegetables, and microgreens.
We're here to listen! The Food Advisory Board (FAB) is an open forum for students and food-service management to work together to make dining on campus the best it can possibly be. FAB connects Housing and Food Services with students to discuss campus food services. Meetings are scheduled throughout the semester and are open to all students.
To ensure that we meet the highest standards in all aspects of food service, our food, equipment, and facilities are inspected regularly. Inspections include a review of the facility, practices, food handling process, food storage process, food preparation process, equipment, food temperatures, and employee practices.
